Butte man cited for driving into Hilltop Market building

BUTTE-An 18 year old Butte man was cited after he drove into the Hilltop Market Place early this morning.
Butte Silver Bow Law Enforcement received a vehicle versus building report around 1:52am Thursday.
Surveillance video recorded at the time of the crash shows a vehicle nearly cutting off the driver that drove into the building at the intersection of Park and Montana Street.
The driver was cited for driving too fast on icy roads but was not arrested.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The business owners have contacted their insurance company and were planning on moving their store to Utah Street in May.
