Butte city bus collides with beer truck

A Butte City bus collided with a beer truck Friday afternoon near the intersection of Farragut and Nettie streets in the flats. First responders at the scene say no one was transported to the hospital and no one suffered any injuries requiring medical attention. They also say there were no passengers in the bus at the time of the crash.

The beer truck was turning right on Farragut and failed to stop at the intersection. It hit the bus but the truck traveled another block before coming to a stop. The force of the collision drove the bus toward the curb, coming to a stop within inches of a parked car. Beer cases could be seen strewn across the roadway at the scene of the crash. Butte Silver-Bow officers were on the scene.
