The Dumas Brothel owners are making progress in opening up the building to the public.
The Dumas has come a long way since owners Michael Piche and Travis Eskelsen bought the building last June.
The pair are hoping to re-open for tours by the end of this month.
The owners are also thinking about opening up a gift shop in the Dumas.
Progress is also being made on the building's infrastructure. Water could be restored to the brothel sometime next month.
The Public Works Department is trying to find out if the building is still connected to the city's water supply.
Otherwise water service will have to be restored by digging up Mercury street to reconnect service.
The owners have also been busy chipping away at rotten plaster to restore the Dumas.
