BOZEMAN - If you're not careful, your car might end up airborne if you travel through the intersection at Valley Center Road and Jackrabbit Lane.
At Valley Center and Jackrabbit lane, signs clearly post that there is a bump if you travel along Valley through the intersection.
MDT District Administrator, Jeff Ebert says they are aware of the issue, and are working on a solution, including a milling project to reduce the bump as a temporary solution.
Ebert says MDT does not want to invest a lot into this project with a bigger Jackrabbit project planned for 2016.
Gallatin County Commissioner Steve White, believes something needs to be done.
"There was an oncoming car that I saw sky under all four wheels. We've talked to the highway department and my understanding is that they agree that that was a little higher than they anticipated and that is something that I think should be fixed."
Ebert says MDT plans to complete the milling of this intersection later this fall.
