BOZEMAN - Two North Side businesses were broken into and money was stolen from the tills overnight.
The glass front doors were shattered at the Daily Coffee Bar and the Natural Baby Company in the 1200 block of North Rouse Avenue and money was taken sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning. No merchandise or other items were taken from the businesses, said Bozeman Police Sgt. Travis Munter.
Other businesses in the area were checked and those were the only ones that had been broken into, Munter said.
The baker arrived at the Daily Coffee Bar at around 4:30 a.m. and found that the front door had been shattered and the business had been broken into, owner Noelle Kehoe said.
The Daily Coffee Bar is open today.
"We were up and running. Everyone is great. Everyone came together and we got all cleaned up and ready to rock," Kehoe said.
The Natural Baby Company will be closed today and possibly tomorrow while the damage is repaired, according to a post on the store's Facebook page.
Bozeman police took reports at the scene and did evidence collection, Munter said.
