The body of a missing Great Falls teenager has been found in the Missouri River.
The 17-year old boy had been swimming with friends near the Big Bend fishing access site about 12 miles south of Great Falls on Tuesday when he went under the water.
Pam Lopez Decker, the boy's aunt, said that Wyatt's friends tried to save him, and at one point even got a hold of him, but the river current was too strong.
Search and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene just after 5:30 p.. on Tuesday, and spent Tuesday evening and all day Wednesday searching and dragging the river.
The search resumed at 6 a.m. on Thursday morning, with cadaver dogs from Billings called in to assist.
The teen's body was found at about 8 a.m.
Decker said that her Wyatt was just weeks shy of his 18th birthday, and was preparing for his junior year at C.M.Russell High School.
