The body found near Hardin on Monday morning has been identified as 3-year-old Tennielle Big Day.

Big Horn County coroner Terry Bullis confirms that the child died of blunt force trauma to the head.

The child's death is being investigated, and at this point, the FBI and other agencies remain tight-lipped about any details.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours near mile marker 11 on the road between Hardin and Fort Smith.

FBI spokeswoman Deborah Bertram says there is no new information available at this time.

The investigation also includes the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Montana Highway Patrol, and the Bighorn County Sheriff's Department.
