BILLINGS - A Billings man suspected for his involvement in a January homicide is back in Montana.

Simon Jacobson, 28, was arrested in Colorado by the U.S. Marshals Task Force on Monday, January 21.

According to Yellowstone County Attorney Scott Twito, Jacobson is now behind bars in the Yellowstone County Detention Facility. He is set to appear in Yellowstone County Justice Court on Monday, on probation violation charges. He will also face new charges for the death of Dejuan Laster, 29, of Illinois.

The victim, a former Billings resident, was in town visiting family. He was robbed and kidnapped on January 17. His body was found northeast of Billings on January 20.

James Walker, 33, of Billings, has also been charged in connection with the murder. Walker blames the death of Laster on Jacobson.
