Billings gas station robbed at gunpoint

Billings Police are investigating a robbery at a gas station on the west end. Officers were dispatched to a robbery at the Cenex Zip Trip Gas Station located at 2975 Grand Avenue.

According to police the suspect entered the gas station via the front south door. The suspect brandished a black handgun and pointed it at the Gas Station employee and demanded money. The employee of the Gas Station gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect also stole some cigarettes. The suspect then fled the business via the same South door that he had entered and was last seen running on foot towards Rehberg Lane. Officers searched the surrounding area for the suspect and at this time he has not been located. The suspect is described as being a white male, in his 20's, approx. 5'8, 120lbs. The suspect was also described as wearing black clothing and gloves. The suspect's face was also covered with a ski mask during this incident.
