Bike vs. Vehicle sends 1 to hospital

BILLINGS - Shortly after 6:15, emergency crews responded to Gorham Park where a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle.

The car, traveling eastbound on Hewitt Drive, attempted a left turn on Gorham Park Dr, struck the bicyclist who headed westbound on Hewitt Drive.

Medical crews transported the woman on the bike to the hospital. She suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle did not see the bicyclist due to glare from the setting sun.

Police cited the driver for failing to yield.
