MISSOULA - Missoula is the epicenter for the basketball world this week, at least for fans of Big Sky Conference basketball.
The University of Montana is hosting both the Big Sky men's and women's tournaments at Dahlberg Arena.
That means fans from all over the Rocky Mountain region are here, ready to enjoy the basketball and the hospitality.
"I was here about a month ago when we played here before. My daughter plays for Eastern Washington, and I love it. It's a beautiful city," Mike Hodgins from Pasco, Washington said.
"We as Griz athletics staff have always taken great pride in our hospitality, regardless of who's playing, and that's really been shown for this tournament. They've been so helpful with anything they need and we just take a lot of pride in that," UM Senior Associate Athletic Director Jean Gee said.
She added that ticket sales for the tournaments have gone very well.
