During their weekly meeting, Gallatin County Commissioners opened bids for a project to pave a parking lot at the Fairgrounds.
Commissioner Pierre Martineau said this afternoon the county received 4 bids ranging from just over $240,000 to $349,000 for the project that would pave a parking lot, add lighting and sidewalks at the fairgrounds. There's no word yet on how long this project will take.
Martineau says that the commissioners will be voting on whether or not to accept the low bid, slightly more than $240,000, by Big Sky Asphalt during the commission meeting next Tuesday.
