ANACONDA - An Anaconda man faces nine felony charges in connection with a series of burglaries in the Smelter City.
Ronald Looman, 40, pleaded not guilty on Wednesday morning to six felony counts of burglary, two felony counts of attempted burglary and felony criminal mischief.
Looman was arrested earlier this month in connection with several late-night burglaries to businesses in Anaconda.
Looman's bond was set for $50,000 and he was ordered back to jail.
The County Attorney noted that Looman has been on parole and has five prior burglary convictions in Montana.
Authorities also suspect Looman in recent burglaries to businesses in Butte and Deer Lodge.
