34 Butte Quality Inn employees reportedly plan walk out

BUTTE - The Butte Silver Bow County Health Department shut down the kitchen of a local hotel, and 34 employees planned to walk out of the establishment Friday morning.

The Quality Inn of Butte reportedly had a fire in the kitchen about two weeks ago. The health department decided to close down the kitchen until all the smoke is removed.

Friday morning employees were going to walk out on their employers. That plan fell through when hotel officials allegedly confronted employees about the walk out.

One employee that was fired says two more employees put in their two weeks notice as she was leaving the building.

Management at Quality Inn has not yet returned a phone call.
