BILLINGS - Three men have died after crashing their vehicle on Highway 313 on Tuesday afternoon.
The south-bound Chevrolet Impala missed a left curve on the road near mile marker 29, 30 miles south of Hardin.
The car continued straight and down an embankment.
When the car hit a ditch that was filled with water, the force of the crash caused the Impala to flip and land on its top.
When emergency crews arrived, all three men were dead.
Montana Highway Patrol identified the them as tribal members, but names have not yet been released.
None of the vehicle's occupants were wearing seat-belts, according to the MHP.
MHP says alcohol was a factor in the crash, but it is not yet known if excessive speed also played a role.
