BOZEMAN - There are just two more days left to get your running shoes and turkey costume ready for the sixth annual Huffing for Stuffing Thanksgiving Day run.

Packet pick-up started today at the Best Western GranTree Inn. It continues there tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Packets can also be picked up at the Museum of the Rockies on race day between 7 and 8:30 a.m.

More than 3,000 people are expected to turn out for this year's race, which raises money for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Last year, the run brought in more than $29,000 for the food bank. This year they're expecting to surpass $100,000 total raised for the food bank since the first year of the race.

"Since then it's been experiencing growth each year, from participants to volunteers. It takes more than 200 volunteers to pull this off," race director John Dudas said.

The event offers a 5K, 10K, untimed 5K fun run and a kids' run for children 12 years old and younger.

If you haven't registered yet you can still sign up at packet pick-up at the GranTree on Wednesday or at the Museum of the Rockies on the morning of the race.
