23-year-old man missing in Hungry Horse

HUNGRY HORSE - A 23-year-old man is missing after leaving a house and apparently walking down to the river.
Officials say the man was visiting some relatives when they realized he wasn't in the house. A family member called 911 around 4 p.m. Friday saying the man was gone. Officials say a set of tracks lead down to the Flathead River, onto the ice and then disappear.
Search and rescue workers combed the area by ground and helicopter. Divers searched the water but left around 6 p.m. as conditions became too dangerous. A boat went up the river from Columbia Falls, but found nothing.
Most of the search has been called off for the evening and will resume again Saturday morning.
The only description of the man at this time is that he was wearing a black jacket.
The weather on Friday evening has been in the mid-30s and rainy.
