Christopher Michelotti, 29, and Dustin Steele, 30, are facing felony charges after allegedly kidnapping a man in Great Falls on Tuesday night.
According to court documents, the two suspects approached the home of Cameron Wiens on Chowen Springs Loop, forced him into a pickup truck, and took him to a house on 22nd Street North to be held hostage with another man.
While they were in the pickup truck, Steele reportedly brandished a "Taurus Judge" gun and pointed it at Wiens, and threatened to kill him if he didn't get his money.
Michelotti also threatened to shoot Wiens with a rifle that he was holding.
Weins told authorities that he was kidnapped because he owed money to Steele for drugs; court documents state that the amount was $350.
Police were notified of the kidnapping by another person who had been at Wiens house when it happened.
Police then approached the home where the suspects were holding him, and everyone inside ran outside, including Wiens, who then told police what had happened
Officers were able to locate both suspects after a short chase and took them into custody.
Michelotti and Steele are each being held on $200,000 bond.
