One person has been killed in a collision between two pickup trucks about eight miles north of Highway 87 in Billings.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, a Ford pickup truck heading west on Shepherd/Acton Road ran through a stop sign at the road's intersection with Highway 87.
The truck was then t-boned by an oncoming silver Dodge pickup truck.
The impact of the collision was so forceful that it caused both pickup trucks to partially roll to a nearby ditch.
The only two people involved in the crash were the drivers of the vehicles.
The driver of the Dodge was wearing a seat belt and sustained only minor injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the person who died.
