There are numerous storms forming in the pacific ocean following the jet stream which should lead to above normal chances for moisture through mid November.

Snow showers are dancing around our region this afternoon due to the warmest time of the day adding a little lift to the weak moisture lingering over the area.
Mountains are seeing several inches of snow whereas the valleys a dusting at best. Wet roadways will ice up overnight.

A strong cold front will push through Montana late day Saturday and with it will come increasing winds, scattered rain and snow and colder temperatures.
Ahead of the front Saturday temperatures should remain mild or near normal but will drop well below normal by Sunday.
