Missing Michigan youths found on interstate near Butte

BUTTE - Three missing juveniles from Michigan were found in a stolen vehicle on Interstate 15 over the weekend.

Two males and one female were driving in a stolen vehicle from Michigan just after 8 a.m. Saturday.

BUTTE - Officials have determined that the body found on the East Ridge Thursday night is that of a Butte man in his mid 50s.

Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff Ed Lester says he does not believe the man has family in Butte.

BUTTE - A Butte man suffered serious burns in a house explosion this afternoon.

The explosion happened just after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at 2218 Argyle Street.

UPDATE: Pioneer Fire 100 percent contained

WISE RIVER - A wildfire that gave Wise River residents a run for their money has calmed down.

The Pioneer Fire broke out Monday afternoon about five miles west of Wise River. It burned about 33 acres on both sides of Highway 43.
