Montana game wardens are asking for help in identifying a poacher who shot a bull moose on the Rocky Mountain Front.

The animal was killed along the Teton River, west of Choteau, about a half mile downstream from the Elko Campground.

The shooting is believed to have occurred between November 12 and November 14th.

The moose was shot and left by the culprit; it had antlers measuring 30 inches wide.

Rewards are made available for turning in poachers.

Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT or Game Warden Rod Duty at 406-466-5603.
