The Montana Highway Patrol reported on Monday that 27-year old David Miller of Valier died killed in a car accident on Sunday morning.

Miller was the sole occupant of a Dodge pickup truck that was north-bound on the Valier- Dupuyer road at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Miller failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle left the roadway, went through a fence, hit a ditch and rolled three and a half times.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities report that Miller was not wearing a seat belt, and that alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.

Valier is approximately 85 miles northwest of Great Falls.
