College students can always use a little extra money to pay for their education, and 20 students at the University of Great Falls are receiving that extra cash, thanks to a contribution from the Montana Student Assistance Foundation.
Today the Foundation presented UGF President Eugene McAllister with a check for over $19,000 as part of ongoing grant funding.
The foundation has partnered with the university since the year 2000, donating nearly $130,000 towards scholarships for students.
McAllister noted, "We're just very grateful for this. This is wonderful for our university and our students and it enables us to progress and grow and increase our student body and to make sure that we can fulfill our promises to our students."
The Student Assistance Foundation also awarded nearly $35,000 in grant funds to students at the MSU-Great Falls College of Technology today.
To date, the Foundation has given the COT more than $180,000 in grant funds.
