A Great Falls man and former state legislator has announced plans to run for the regional seat on the Montana Public Service Commission.

Democrat Don Ryan says his time working on energy issues in the state Senate adds to his qualifications for the job.

Ryan's eight years in the Senate ended this year.

Greg Jergeson of Chinook currently serves as our regional Public Service Commissioner as well as the Chair of the Commission, and is not eligible for re-election.
