Spreading the word about fire safety - and doing it in an entertaining manner - is the focus this week for Great Falls Fire Rescue.
Firefighters are touring schools in and around the Great Falls District, putting on skits to teach students how to stop, drop, and roll if on fire, the importance of safety around campfires, and to never play with matches or lighters.
This year, the annual production showcases favorite superheroes like Spiderman, Batman, and Superman, and today the team stopped in Fort Shaw.
Captain B.J. Perry of Great Falls Fire Rescue said, "The kids love it. They look forward to it. You'll see them out and they'll say I saw you at the show! So the kids really get excited for it and they really enjoy it."
Fire fighters have already visited over 15 schools around the Great Falls area.
They will wrap up their annual fire safety show this Friday with a visit to Our Lady Of Lourdes Elementary School.
