Fifteen community health centers across Montana are sharing a $6.7 million federal stimulus grant.

The Great Falls/Cascade County City-County Health Department will receive $438,000 for upgrading equipment and facilities

Alicia Thompson, executive director of the department, explained, "It's going to be used to remodel our existing dental operatories as well as add a third operatory that will have a panoramic x-ray machine it it. We will also be remodeling our medical procedure room. We have to do that in order to make room for the third operatory. It's really exciting."

Community Health centers in Helena, Havre, Cut Bank, Lewistown, Harlem and Chinook are also receiving money from the grant.
