Border Patrol makes Havre drug seizure

U.S. Border Patrol agents based in Havre have seized more than $10,000 in illegal drugs from an Amtrak passenger.

A 28-year old man, whose name has not been released was arrested at the Amtrak station and checks at the station led a border patrol canine to a piece of luggage containing nearly three pounds of marijuana. A second piece of luggage owned by the same passenger was discovered to have seven ounces of hashish.

The suspect was turned over to the Tri Agency Task Force and booked into the Havre County Jail.
