Some more green is on the way to help Montana schools go green as the state is giving grants worth nearly $3.5 million to 17 school districts.

Among the districts picking up the cash are Cascade County, which will receive $369,000. Meanwhile, Conrad will receive $165,000 and Dutton/Brady will pick up about $81,000.

The money will pay for energy audits and energy efficiency upgrades and is being paid with federal stimulus money.
